Founder Ritu K. Maurer has lived and worked across the west and east coast, Europe, and South Africa. through these experiences, she has developed a passionate appreciation for cultural heritage and cultural intersections.

ritu’s deep curiosity for how people operate, her background in social sciences, and her sincere and persistent work ethic make her uniquely attuned to uncover client needs.

in her namesake studio, studio Bhargava fosters authentic connections in warm and inviting places that stand the test of time using rich textures, layered lighting, and optimized functionality to adorn and cherish a place.

Ritu holds a Masters in Fine Arts, Interior Design (outstanding merit) from Pratt Institute. Today she lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and labradoodle.
